Sales Policy

Thank you for your interest in Rockin-CB LaManchas.

2015 was a good year for us. We were able to attend a few additional shows and get a few more of the goats out and about. We finished a few does this past year and got championship legs on many more. We culminated the show season by having the BEST in SHOW Dairy herd at the competitive Washington State Fair. We have also continued to work on improving milk production. In 2010 our rolling herd average was 1900 lbs., and now it is 2200 lbs.

Our goals continue to have an emphasis on breeding animals that improve with maturity and live to an old age while still being productive. We are constantly striving to breed the "best" by concentrating on developing consistency in the show ring as well as the milk pail.

We will be freshening 24 does for 2018. We anticipate that a few first fresheners will be available for sale in late spring. The does will start kidding mid-February and we should be done by the end of May. The herd is once again 100% CAE negative. We test annually through Bio-Tracking before kidding season begins.

All of our kids are removed from their dams at birth and fed raw colostrum and milk, which has worked well for us the last 7 years. Prior to that we fed heat-treated colostrum and pasteurized milk. We thought that after 20 some years of doing that we would be safe to go to raw milk and colostrum which, as I mentioned above, has worked well. We are on continuous DHIA test and have the herd appraised at least every other year.

Our prices include delivery to Spokane International Airport. The buyer is responsible for transportation costs, kennel and Interstate Health certificates. Spokane is located in Northeast Washington state. We request a deposit of $100 to reserve your choice of kid, and we operate on a first come-first serve policy. The balance is due within two weeks of being notified of your kid's birth, unless previous arrangements have been made. Our animals receive CDT, Bo-Se and are wormed routinely. They are fed quality alfalfa hay and have acreage for browse. They also receive a 16% grain ration. Kids receive medicated grain. Deposit refunds are given ONLY in the event your kid is not born.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call, e-mail or write (e-mail or text is the best method of contact). Most of our animals are pictured on our website, www.rockincb.com, or can be seen on our Facebook page.

Thank you,
Cindy and Bob
